Charlotte Littlejohn | Tyler A. Smyth Architects | Week 12 (4/11-4/18)

Monday:  Spent four hours developing interior elevations for renovations to a residence (Margolis)

Tuesday:  Spent two hours developing interior elevations for renovations to a residence (Margolis); spent two hours developing interior elevations for a new residence (Rothstein)

Wednesday:  Spent four hours developing interior elevations for a new residence (Rothstein)

Thursday:  Spent four hours creating a specifications book template to be used on future projects

Lessons Learned:  In typing out the new spec book, I learned what details need to be noted for contractors before construction begins so that nothing is lost in translation. There are many categories – called divisions – that are specific to different parts of construction (i.e. wood, metal, finishes, furnishings, etc.).

AXP Earned:  12 hours for Project Development and Documentation, 4 hours for Practice Management
