This week I continued schematics for Edisto EMS and SC DNR. We went through multiple iterations to figure out how best to fit the EMS station into the very narrow site. The DNR addition was already designed by another firm, our scope is just to provide construction documents to contractors. On Wednesday we had a Lunch and Learn with a company that makes piles for large scale building projects.

Lessons:

I learned how difficult it can be to fit a project into a site sometimes. Creating the schematics for the EMS Station was a lot of design sacrifices in order to find the optimal layout for the space.
