Help Duncan with design, drawing, and daily tasks

Monday (4/4):  8:14 – 12:32

I worked on more final production drawings based on edits Duncan gave and examples he shared with me.  I was very interested to see this side of the construction work since most of what I’d done up to this point was based on design rather than on technical ability.

Tuesday (4/5):  8:18 – 2:39

I got some of the drawings finalized, but still needed more work on the MEP plan since it was the one I was most unfamiliar with.  I sent all of the drawings in a PDF binder and that was the only one he recommended edits for.  I also continued making changes to the digital model as I found them.

Wednesday (4/6):  8:12 – 11:42

I began on the digital site model for the exterior renderings.  Since I had already modeled the whole outside of the house, it was easy to add details that made it seem more realistic and Lumion made it even easier.  I added plants around the house in places that I had discussed with Duncan, as well as the existing fences and trees.

Thursday (4/7):  8:33 – 1:39

After wrapping up the drawings for 1919 Carlton, I just had to get the renders finalized.  I cleaned up the model to make sure everything was as accurate as possible and then found some interesting angles of both the inside and outside of the house for some convincing renders.
