This is an example of some of the tile plans and elevations that I have been working on this week. The project is on Kiawah Island in SC and is for a new house that a family is moving into and needs the interior to be designed. I have been helping to select the tiles that will be used throughout the house, and putting these tiles into design boards and plans for the client to review and make changes as necessary. Throughout this process I have learned how to create install plans for the contractors, as well as how to select tiles for a project based on things like price, material, and aesthetic. This has given me a better idea of the ins and outs of design and what it takes to finally make a project feel complete.
