This week involved me working on interior renovations for a building downtown. Due to the age and additions that have been put on the facade, the wall widths vary and bow and different points along each elevation. After discussing with others at the office, it has been determined to work based off of the corners and load bearing wall for finding the perpendicular points. This week has showed me how each building, especially those that are to be renovated are unique in situation and the architect must have a flexibility in the drawing process to have a set of drawings that can be understood to anyone that may look at them.
