Ian’s Week:

This week I worked mainly on blocking out elevations of a residence in Charleston. These PowerCADD files have become easier for me as time has gone on. I feel a bit more confident, and although I know I won’t be using PowerCADD going forward, I can still use the process in similar programs. The process is probably the most important thing to get down fast so that your ideas can come out quickly.

I am also finalizing the stairs for the Mungo House. It is taking quite a while, but they are unique and complex. Making sure they work with proper sizing and in the way, they are built is just as important as the concept.
