This week I continued my diagrammatic work as the VIERS team began to prepare for the VA (Value Analysis) workshop for the project. Getting to sit in on some of that meeting was a great opportunity for me to learn more about how a project evolves over time, as well as what some of those important steps are in getting it to continue developing and moving forward. I also had the opportunity to go on a site visit to the Old City Jail, another current project. The Old City Jail stands as one of the largest buildings in downtown Charleston which has yet to be preserved. It is on track to be repaired and then house different office spaces and businesses. This week I was also able to help out with some administrative work for a new project focused on designing a support building for the Early College High School (ECHS).
