Student’s Role: Assembling final drawing set for permit

This project has taken an interesting turn from when I first recall working on it at the beginning of this year as there is a current transfer in ownership as the client has seen more benefit in selling the project to another developer than moving forward with it. This apparently happens quite frequently here in Charleston as there is a large value placed on projects that have been approved by the BAR considering the long process it sometimes takes for projects to get approved. In the meantime however we are continuing to push the drawing set forward to permitting and ensuring that these buildings are up to code adding in sprinkler rooms and other fire safety equipment.
