Student’s Role: Researching different ceiling system types + contacting product manufacturing reps for sizing
This week I was once again asked to contact another product manufacturing company but for a different project. This time however it is was a little more important to do some more research on the product beforehand in order to better understand it and what the company has to offer. This helps in being able to ask the right questions when speaking with the representative on the phone to get the answers we were looking for and to avoid simply being redirected to their website. I have definitely learned never to shy away from just picking up the phone and calling such companies when we need to get more information on a product that were using our projects.
