Charlotte Littlejohn | Tyler A. Smyth Architects | Week 3 (1/31-2/3)

Monday:  Spent four hours setting up interior elevations for a new residence (Rothstein).

Tuesday:  Spent four hours setting up interior elevations for a new residence (Rothstein).

Wednesday:  Spent four hours setting up interior elevations for a new residence and the reflected ceiling plan/electrical drawings (Rothstein).

Thursday:  Spent an hour and a half drawing the reflected ceiling plan/electrical plan drawings for a new residence (Rothstein) and two and a half hours checking shop drawings for windows and doors from the manufacturer against the window and door schedule for a residence on King Street (Graves).

Lessons Learned:  I learned the importance of communication between architects and manufacturers for elements as some intended sizes may not correlate to the manufactured elements, so the design must be changed to reflect the elements as they are ordered; I also learned that interior elevations are important for residential projects so that the client can get an idea of what their spaces will look like and how they are experienced.

AXP Earned:  13.5 hours for Project Development and Documentation, 2.5 hours for Construction and Evaluation
