This week I was able to begin 3D printing from the SketchUp model that I’ve been working on. Each print usually takes at least a day to complete. I also had an opportunity this week to talk with one of my coworkers about QAQC (Quality assurance quality control) which is a vital part of the design process in a project, and making sure all the architectural, engineering, etc. plans are all coordinated and revised before construction. Getting to go through plans and learn about this process in detail was really interesting.
