Thoughts:

LS3P’s involvement with the Florence FSED project is atypical. The project was already in progress as a FSED when the land changed hands to MUSC. LS3P was hired as a consultant to develop a concept to deliver to the architecture firm that was working on the process previously, since LS3P has done a lot of work for MUSC, including developing their original curtain wall “sail.” The original architect’s fee to MUSC, then reflects the amount of time it would require them to make the suggested changes. This is an unusual way to be brought into a project, but is work, nonetheless.
