Joel Rogers | The Middleton Group | Week 8

Weekly Summary

Time Sheet

10/31/2022 [8:00am-12:15pm]

– Had morning meeting where we went over the projects for the week. There has been a major change in some of the Nowell Creek buildings where we had to remove all of the transoms above the windows. So I spent most of my morning re-adjusting the model to re-render 10 of the 11 images I did 2 weeks ago.

11/02/2022 [8:00am-12:00pm]

– Spent the morning out at the Nexton Development with Karo going over some of the newer changes over there. Ended up going to another development near the site to look at how another building executed a siding condition. This was to help us make a better decision for our project and what cladding we wanted to use. Also will be installing some laser cut panels soon in between the buildings. Additionally, I worked on more of the Nexton Tract D renderings.

LESSONS & SKILLS LEARNED

This week I learned a lot about weekly jobsite meetings with contractors and how those go about. I also learned some more tricks from Blake on rendering in Lumion and really just started to optimize my workflow more.
