Tuesday, 11.10.20

  • Continued working on set up for the French Quarter creek project. Redlined the design drawing package.
  • Began working on the Shem Creek Marina Store project and setup the project folder and CD Set. Redlined design drawings.

Thursday, 11.12.20

  • MOVED BACK INTO NEWLY RENOVATED OFFICE. Disco ball was pretty neat.
  • RAINED HEAVILY. Spent most of our morning helping eachother avoid cars being flooded on Morris St and using intern trucks to taxi people through the waters.
  • Continued working on French Quarter Creek CD Set.

Friday, 11.13.20

  • No work today. Friday’s are flex days for me if I need to make up hours or shift schedule.

 

Reflection:

It was awesome to get back into the office and set up. Working from home is easy, but the studio collaboration and morale was pretty low. It is nice to have the studio space back as a generator for collaborative design. That atmosphere simply cannot be recreated virtually. The rain was annoying but fun too. Its nice to slow down and deal with the rain instead of deadlines for a chance.
