Weekly Summary

This week I was able to visit a project construction site located on an ocean front property in Sullivan’s Island. It was exciting to see the installation process of what I had been working on in the shop. I learned important techniques on site while measuring wall segments where future acoustical panels would be installed. The complex part of this job is the curvature of walls that lead to atypical angles that will need to be fabricated for panels.  It was also important to keep my measurements legible and my sketches neat so that my mentor would be able to read the dimensions and understand where the diagrams were supposed to be located.
