Introduction to the King Street project (DD-158). Started working on the new segment of King street from Calhoun St. to Spring St. My tasks were to start including more details in the existing sketchup model created by Annie. Focus on facades details, roof parapets, and buildings alignment.

Today, me and Annie  (The other intern) went to visit 5 of the remaining 7 mobile food ( already completed 10 sites visits). We spent the day talking to some mobile food vendors and trying to find the right location of each site.

Day 2 at work. Site visit during my whole shift, and documentation of site/street conditions. Visited 6 of the 17 mobile food vending locations by myself, took a lot of pictures for documentation. Getting introduced to the “mobile food vending project.” Familiarize myself with the contents of the projects including locations, regulations, precedents, and inspirations.  Also meet with Annie and do a  visit of 4 of the 17 mobile food vending locations around Charleston.

Day one at the Civic Design Center, meet with Allen and Morgan. Tour of the building and some housekeeping (calendar, schedule, and site visits). Then, I had a brief introduction to the projects that I will be working on this semester. Excited to work on the People Pedal Plan this semester.
