Worked on tower section for new development project and redlined drawing once completed. Attended a site visit in Mount Pleasant for a project that is undergoing renovation and is currently in demo phase.

WEEKLY REFLECTION

While attending a site visit for one of the ongoing renovation projects at the firm, that I’ve been fortunate enough to see through from the beginning, it was interesting to see the whole team come together as the project is now in the demolition phase. The owner/investor, builders, structural engineer, MEP, and of course architect, were all present for the meeting on site to discuss some of the issues that needed to be addressed before moving forward onto the second phase of demolition. It was definitely a neat experience and great learning opportunity, as I have never attend such a meeting before, getting to see the group dynamic as they all worked together to make decisions and resolve some of the issues found on site while trying to maintain their current project schedule.
